Pick up at our shop in Rapid City or we'll deliver locally. Every bike leaves with a basic safety check.

Is my sponsorship tax deductible?

Stone Bicycle Coalition is an LLC, not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your payment is a purchase, not a charitable donation. If you're a business, your accountant may be able to classify it as a marketing or community sponsorship expense.

Who receives sponsored bikes?

Community members referred through our Earn-A-Bike program, local organizations, or direct requests. We prioritize people who need reliable transportation for work, school, or daily life.

Can I donate a bike?

Yes! We accept bikes in any condition. Working bikes go straight to inventory. Bikes needing work get refurbished. Parts bikes supply our repair stock. Contact us to arrange a drop-off.

What does the price cover?

Each bike's price reflects the actual cost of parts, materials, and labor that went into making it road-ready. We price at break-even plus a small margin to keep the shop running.

Can I test ride before buying?

Absolutely. Stop by during Open Shop hours (Saturdays 10am-4pm) and take any available bike for a spin around the block.
